Speaker Bio
John Peterson is the founder and president of Public Architecture. He is also the principal of Peterson Architects, which, for many years, undertook extensive pro bono work for arts organizations, community development corporations, and social service agencies. John has served on several nonprofit boards, and has held three mayoral task-force appointments in San Francisco. He is the recipient of numerous design and social innovation awards, as well as local, state, and national citations from the AIA. John is an adjunct professor at California College of the Arts and was a 2006 Loeb Fellow at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
