Beverly Prior is a leading figure in the local and national architectural community. She founded Beverly Prior Architects (www.bparch.com) in 1986, an award-winning firm focusing on public projects. Beverly and the firm have attained a noteworthy reputation in the creation of civic, justice, K-12, higher education and other community-based design projects. Beverly is active with the American Institute of Architects including national leadership in the Academy of Architecture for Justice, local chair of the AIA National Convention in San Francisco, and representing California on the AIA National Board of Directors member.
