Talk Description
Larry's talk will cover some of the most impactful lessons he's learned while studying knowledge in its varied forms and settings over the last 25 years. He will discuss the setup of the type of knowledge management program he has seen succeed from the start. Larry will cover topics such as connecting knowledge strategy to business strategy, designing a flexible knowledge management team, and the proper role of technology.
Speaker Bio
Laurence (Larry) Prusak was a founder of the Ernst and Young Center for Business Innovation, the founder and director of the IBM Institute for Knowledge Management, and has been a senior advisor on knowledge and learning issues with McKinsey and Co., the World Bank, and NASA.
Larry has co-authored or edited 12 books on these subjects including Working Knowledge, which was translated into 17 languages and sold over one third of a million copies. He has written over 50 articles and given over 250 talks as well as having taught in 32 Universities around the world.
